about soung-hee Lee's painting

In Soung-Lees paintings there are passages of pure painting that yield

Unemphatic delight and others that are remarkable for the translucency of the color. We are sometimes reminded of Matisse, of Bonnard and of complex and carefully structured yet free in style. Soung-Lees paintings are fresh, shes a very interesting artist and these works are well worth looking at.
